Fastest leg, Paul Swenarton, outward leg in 1.08, new course record by 2 seconds. Congratulations to Craig Swenarton on a terrific ride for a young newcomer. Most consistent rider i.e smallest gap between both rides , Myles Geddis and John Hunter on 9 seconds. Average gap was 13.5 seconds. On outward leg 8 riders broke the 1.20 barrier which equates to 45kph ( just over 28mph ) average from a standing start… Paul 1.08, Keith 1.15, Owen 1.17, Craig 1.17, Noel 1.18, Gary 1.19, Norman 1.19, Tommy 1.19. Paul and Keith broke the 30mph mark on the outward leg. (1.15)
